The lounge at Grayash Cottage is the heart (and hearth) of the home. It is well-lit, airy and comfortable.

The major feature of this room is the original Cumbrian slate floor to ceiling fireplace with seating. The fire is not in use, but you can enjoy the wood burner on those nights when a warm fire and a complimentary hot drink are essential. 

The room has a three seater sofa, a single seat chair and a footstool. The window seat is a perfect place to read, or look out onto the ‘sun trap’ courtyard.

There is a large under stair cupboard for your coats, boots and brollies.
